Sytten (English title: Erik Soya's 17) is a 1965 Danish coming-of-age sex comedy directed by Annelise Meineche and starring Ole Søltoft and Ghita Nørby. Søltoft plays a 17-year-old high school student who discovers the youthful excesses of sexual desire during his summer vacation in 1913. Based upon the semi-autobiographical 1953 novel by Carl Erik Soya, Sytten was a financial success for the Palladium Film company and ushered in a wave of erotic films such as the Bedside-films and Zodiac-films, most of which starred Søltoft.

THIS SIXTIES FILM IS / WAS FANTASTIC TO SEE WHEN IT CAME OUT, IN A LARGE CINEMA IN LONDON. I SAW IT ABOUT 3 TIMES. ONLY RELEASED ON VIDEO IN CANADA AND THE USA. I OWN A COPY. NOW THE FILM: BRILLIANT CAST, EXCELLENT ACTING, GREAT STORY. FUNNY AND LOTS OF TWISTS ABOUT THE BOY COMING OF AGE. I THINK HANSIGNE PLAYED BY SUSANNE HEINRICH IS MARVELLOUS. OLE SOLTOFT IS BRILLIANT AND GHITA NORBY WONDERFUL. I WISH IT WAS AVAILABLE ON DVD. YOU CAN SEE A CLIP ON UTUBE KEY IN SYTTEN. LOTS OF MEMORABILIA AVAILABLE ON EBAY. OH YES AND A GREAT SOUNDRTACK. I RECOMMEND YOU SEE THIS FILM.
